All-On-4 Plus® Melbourne
When Most or All of Your Teeth Need to Go
If you’re facing the loss of most or all of your teeth, the idea of months in temporaries or removable dentures probably isn’t sitting well with you. All-On-4 Plus® is a full arch implant treatment using four or more strategically placed implants per arch, with Immediate Final Teeth™ delivered within 24 to 48 hours of surgery. Not placeholders. Your actual, custom-milled final teeth.
Understanding All-On-4 Plus®
All-On-4 Plus® uses four or more implants per arch, placed at carefully planned angles to maximise contact with available bone. The angled rear implants are designed to reduce the need for extensive grafting, even where some bone loss has already occurred.
The treatment follows a precise four-step protocol: digital planning using 3D CBCT scanning and Digital Smile Design, surgical preparation of the bone and gums, strategic implant placement, and Immediate Final Teeth™ within 24 to 48 hours. Individual suitability depends on bone density, general health, and thorough clinical assessment. Outcomes vary from patient to patient.
Could All-On-4 Plus® Be Right for You?
Every case requires careful individual assessment before any recommendation is made. Here's what generally needs to align.
Your All-On-4 Plus® Journey, Step by Step
Every case is individually assessed and planned. Here's what the All-On-4 Plus® protocol typically looks like.

Digital Planning and Facial Analysis
3D CBCT scanning, facial photographs, and Digital Smile Design software map your bone structure, bite, and facial balance, simulating your new teeth before surgery begins.
(1 visit, approximately 90-120 minutes)

Surgical Reshaping of Bone and Gums
The implant sites are carefully prepared by reshaping the jawbone and contouring the gums, creating a level, hygienic platform for your new teeth.

Strategic Implant Placement
Four or more implants are placed in positions planned precisely from your diagnostic records, using angled placement to optimise strength and reduce the need for grafting.
(Full day appointment, approximately 3-4 hours)

Immediate Final Teeth™
Your custom-designed, high-performance Immediate Final Teeth™ are fitted within 24 to 48 hours of surgery, shaped to fit your gum contours, bite, and smile line.

Ongoing Maintenance
Regular professional maintenance is essential for long-term implant and prosthetic health.
(Every 3-6 months, ongoing)
Risks & Recovery
All-On-4 Plus® is a significant surgical procedure. Understanding the risks and recovery involved is an important part of making an informed decision.
Possible risks include:
- Swelling, bruising, or discomfort in the days following surgery
- Bleeding during the initial healing period
- Infection or delayed healing at the implant sites
- Risk of implant failure if integration with the bone does not occur
Recovery considerations:
- Initial healing typically takes one to two weeks
- A soft diet is required during early healing to protect the implants
- Full osseointegration takes several months, during which your Immediate Final Teeth™ remain in place
- Ongoing professional maintenance every 3-6 months is essential for long-term outcomes

Invest in Your Oral Health
Any questions?

What are Immediate Final Teeth™?
Immediate Final Teeth™ are your actual final teeth, not a temporary bridge. Custom-designed using Digital Smile Design software and milled from high-performance materials, they’re fitted within 24 to 48 hours of surgery. Your implants continue to integrate with the bone over the following months, but your final teeth are already in place from day one.
Do I need bone grafting with All-On-4 Plus®?
Not necessarily. The angled implant placement is designed to maximise contact with available bone, which often means grafting can be avoided even where some loss has occurred. Where bone quality or clenching pressure requires it, additional implants or targeted grafting may be recommended during your individual assessment.
What does ongoing maintenance involve?
Professional maintenance every three to six months includes specialised cleaning around the implants and monitoring of bone and tissue health. Your team will also guide you on the home care routine best suited to your specific prosthetic.
