What Sets the All-On-4 Plus® Protocol Apart
Two things distinguish All-On-4 Plus® from a standard full arch implant approach. The first is the angled placement of the rear implants, which is engineered to work with available bone and often reduces the need for grafting. The second is the timing of the final prosthesis.
Every case begins with 3D CBCT scanning and Digital Smile Design, where the bite, gum line, and facial proportions are mapped before surgery. The bone and gums are then surgically reshaped on the day to create a level platform. Four or more implants are placed at digitally planned angles. The Immediate Final Teeth™ are fitted within 24 to 48 hours, custom-milled from high-performance materials, not a temporary bridge.

How Your Treatment Unfolds
Every All-On-4 Plus® case at Taylors Lakes Dental House follows the same protocol, planned in detail before surgery day arrives.
Digital Planning and Smile Design
3D CBCT imaging captures your bone, sinuses, and surrounding structures in detail. Facial photographs and Digital Smile Design software map how your new teeth will sit against your facial proportions. Nothing is improvised on the day. (1 visit, approximately 90 to 120 minutes)
Treatment Plan and Costing
You see the full plan before committing. The timeline, the surgery day itself, the prosthesis material choices, the cost, and the maintenance schedule. Sedation and general anaesthesia options are discussed at this stage. (Same visit or a follow-up)
Surgery Day
The bone and gum tissue are reshaped to create a level, hygienic platform. Four or more implants are placed at the digitally planned angles. The procedure runs for approximately 3 to 4 hours and is performed under local anaesthesia, with in-house IV sedation or general anaesthesia available depending on what suits you.
Immediate Final Teeth™ Fitting
Within 24 to 48 hours of surgery, your custom-milled final prosthesis is fitted. This is not a temporary. It is the high-performance prosthesis designed specifically for your gum contours, bite, and smile line during the planning stage.
Healing and Integration
The implants bond with the bone over several months. Your Immediate Final Teeth™ stay in place throughout this phase. A soft diet and careful oral hygiene protect the result. (3 to 6 months, with periodic reviews)
Long-Term Maintenance
Professional cleans and prosthesis reviews every 3 to 6 months are part of the treatment, not optional. Home care routines specific to your prosthesis are walked through in detail. (Ongoing)
Risks and Recovery
All-On-4 Plus® is a significant surgical procedure. Understanding the risks and the recovery picture is part of giving informed consent.
Possible risks include:
- Swelling, bruising, and tenderness in the days following surgery
- Bleeding during the initial healing window
- Infection or delayed healing at one or more implant sites
- One or more implants failing to integrate with the bone
- Nerve or sinus involvement, which is why 3D imaging is part of planning
- Prosthesis fracture or wear over time, requiring repair or replacement
Recovery considerations:
- The first one to two weeks involve soft foods and reduced activity
- Initial gum healing typically takes one to two weeks

Are the Immediate Final Teeth™ really the final result, or do they get replaced later?
They are the final prosthesis. Digital Smile Design and high-performance milling produce them before surgery day, shaped specifically to your gum contours and bite. They are not a temporary that gets swapped out later. The plan is designed so the prosthesis you wear home is the prosthesis you wear long-term, with ongoing maintenance.
I was told elsewhere I need bone grafting. Does that rule me out?
Not necessarily. The angled rear implant design is built to work with reduced bone volume in many cases. Once we review your 3D CBCT imaging, we can give you a clearer picture of whether grafting is needed for your specific situation. Some patients still require it, others do not.
What happens during the actual surgery day at Taylors Lakes Dental House?
The day starts with final imaging and pre-surgical preparation. The procedure itself takes approximately 3 to 4 hours under local anaesthesia, with in-house IV sedation or general anaesthesia available based on your preference and clinical suitability. You go home the same day with surgical instructions and contact details for any concerns during the first 24 to 48 hours.
